A college football season filled with uncertainty finally has clarity, sort of.

Ohio State, back at No. 1 after three weeks out of the top spot, will play No. 2 Louisiana State in the National Championship Game on Jan. 7.

Fox is revealing the BCS pairings with all the drama (and drawn out length) of a '24' marathon:

Sugar Bowl, Jan. 1 - Hawaii (at-large, WAC) vs. Georgia (SEC)

Rose Bowl, Jan. 1 - Southern California (Pac-10) vs. Illinois (Big Ten)

Fiesta Bowl, Jan. 2 - Oklahoma (Big XII) vs. West Virginia (Big East)

Orange Bowl, Jan. 3 - Virginia Tech (Big XII) vs. Kansas (Big XII)

National Championship Game, Jan. 7 - Ohio State (Big Ten) vs. Louisiana State (SEC)

Missouri, which was No. 1 before losing to Oklahoma in the Big XII championship game on Saturday night, was bounced out of BCS bowl contention by a rule which prohibits a conference from having more than two teams qualify for the BCS games. The Tigers will play Arkansas, which upset LSU last week, in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1.
